Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
Sports Evolution Bay o.z.
Version: 2.0 | Effective from: 1 July 2026
1. Introduction
This policy explains how the website www.sportsevolutionbay.org (the "website"), operated by the civic association Sports Evolution Bay o.z., ID No. 57541591, with its registered seat at Čajkovského 6332/44, 917 08 Trnava, Slovakia (the "operator"), uses cookies and similar technologies.
It is based on Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit the website. They allow the website to remember your settings, keep it running and, where applicable, measure traffic.
In this policy the term "cookies" also covers similar technologies – browser local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), pixels and fingerprinting techniques that serve the same purpose.
3. Cookies we use
The website is largely presentational and does not use any advertising, marketing or third-party tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads and similar tools are not deployed).
Currently, only the following categories of cookies and similar identifiers appear on the website:
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies provide the basic functionality and security of the website. Their use does not require consent under Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll.
| Name / type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare, Inc. | Bot management, protection against automated traffic | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare, Inc. | Verifies a human visitor during a security check | 30 days |
| [TO BE ADDED after audit] | [TO BE ADDED] | [TO BE ADDED] | [TO BE ADDED] |
Note: The table reflects cookies typically deployed by the underlying platform infrastructure. The exact set of cookies actually set in a given installation may vary; you can verify the current list at any time via the browser developer tools (F12 → Application → Cookies).
3.2 Contact form (Formspree)
The contact form on the website is implemented as a native HTML form whose contents are submitted directly to a Formspree endpoint. In this configuration Formspree does not store any cookies on your device.
Submitting the form transfers the values you entered, along with your IP address, to Formspree (USA). See the Privacy Policy, sections 2.3 and 4.2, for details.
3.3 Registration forms (Tally)
Registration forms are provided through the Tally NV service (Belgium). Where a form is embedded on the site via an iframe or widget, Tally may set its own third-party cookies. Where the form is only linked to on the tally.so domain, no cookies are set on our website.
4. Cookies we do NOT use
The following are not deployed on the website at present:
- Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Matomo and others)
- Marketing and advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight and others)
- Tracking pixels and remarketing tools
- Social plugins (FB Like, Instagram embed) that load automatically
If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before enabling such cookies.
5. Consent and its withdrawal
Because the website currently uses only strictly necessary cookies (security and operation), consent is not required. If in the future we introduce cookies that require consent (for example analytics or marketing), we will display a cookie banner meeting the following requirements in line with the opinion of the Slovak regulator (ÚREKaPS) on obtaining cookie consent and the EDPB Cookie Banner Task Force Report (2023):
- No cookies that require consent will be set before it is given.
- The "Accept all" and "Reject all" buttons in the first layer of the banner will be equivalent (same size, colour and visibility).
- Pre-ticked check-boxes for non-essential cookies are excluded.
- Consent will be granular – you will be able to choose individual categories.
- You will be able to withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, as easily as you gave it (Article 7(3) GDPR).
- Consent will be refreshed after 12 months.
You can also manually manage or delete cookies at any time directly in your browser settings:
6. Transfers of data outside the EU
Cloudflare cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) are set as part of a global CDN network and Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA. Transfers rely on:
- The EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795).
- The Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, incorporated into the Cloudflare Customer DPA.
Submitting the contact form transfers data to Formspree (USA) on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses – see Privacy Policy, section 4.2.
7. Your rights
In connection with the processing of personal data through cookies (in particular IP addresses and device identifiers), you have all the rights available under the GDPR – access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Details on how to exercise these rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on the website with its effective date. Where changes are material (for example the introduction of analytics or marketing tools) we will ask for renewed consent.
